125 years of Baugenossenschaft Mittelholstein: an anniversary that does good.

This year, Baugenossenschaft Mittelholstein is celebrating its 125th anniversary. Instead of gifts, the cooperative asked guests from administration, politics and business for donations for the Kieler Anker lunch table in Kiel on the occasion of its anniversary celebration on March 20, 2025. Thanks to the generous support, a total of 13,000 euros was raised. This initiative illustrates the social commitment of Baugenossenschaft Mittelholstein, which has been providing affordable housing and a strong sense of community since it was founded in 1900.

The donation was handed over on Tuesday, May 27, in the presence of Gesa Kitschke, Managing Director of Diakonie Altholstein. Stefan Binder, CEO of the building cooperative, emphasized: "It is very important to us not only to create living space, but also to actively contribute to improving living conditions in our community. Supporting the Kieler Anker lunch table is an important step in this direction."

Baugenossenschaft Mittelholstein is a traditional cooperative that is committed to creating living space and promoting social interaction. With a wide range of housing options and an active membership, it contributes to the quality of life in the region.
